Maggie B. Bensalem, Pa

My name is Maggie, I'm in my 2 1/2 year of post concussive recovery. I fell and hit the occiput of my skull which impacted how to walk correctly. For two years I walked with a cane, stayed in dark rooms and wore sun glasses everywhere I went. I had seen numerous pain specialists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, vestibular physical therapists, chiropractors, etc.
The first time I laid on Janine's table I had no expectations. As Janine began her gentle work, it was as though my body was truly cared for for the first time. My muscles began to shake and release all this pent up energy and I started to cry. I genuinely didn't know what was happening but Janine calmly walked me through the experience.  I had the feeling of finally being able to breathe again. What Janine does is magical. I felt grounded for the first time as I got off her table. On the drive home I took off my sunglasses. When I arrived home I took my first five steps with out my cane in two and a half years. I am so grateful

That which I am searching for is me. That which acts as an enemy is me, and that which is attempting to get rid of the self-destructive me is also me. I am the obstruction and I am the way. -Yogi Amrit Desai
